Bulldogs of the Month
Each month, staff members have the opportunity to recognize hard-working students in the classroom.
Selection include some of the following key points:
*Student is a good citizen here at NC
*Student is making an honest effort in his/her classes
*Student tries to get along with others and treats others with respect
*Show improvement in the above areas
Nominees are voted by the entire staff. Eight students, four 8th and four 7th grade students are chosen. Winners will have a short write-up in the display case.
February Bulldogs of the Month
Carson Burns 7th Grade:
What is your favorite class? Why?
Math because it makes it easier to do things elsewhere.
What is your favorite season? Why?
Spring, because I love rain and green grass. My birthday is also in the spring.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
I love to go golfing with my dad.
Picture yourself at the age of 30, what do you hope to be doing?
I hope to have a good paying job (maybe engineering) and if I have kids, to have a good relationship with them and my wife.
If you could have dinner with someone famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
My dad, because he helps me when I really need it and is always trying to make me a good person.
Hunter Duce 7th Grade:
What is your favorite class? Why?
Band, I like the teacher Mr. Hylton.
What is your favorite season? Why?
My favorite season is spring.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Play video games.

I don't expect much probably a teacher or something.
If you could have dinner with someone famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Michael Jackson, because I like his music.
Macy Sorensen 7th Grade:
What is your favorite class? Why?
My favorite class is writing because Mrs. Martin has such fun writing assignments. She also is such a good help to me when I'm stuck writing.
What is your favorite season? Why?
My favorite season is winter. I love playing in the snow, sledding, skiing, looking at the snow covered trees, and just watching the snow fall.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
I love playing tennis and pickleball. I also enjoy spending time with my family watching movies.
Picture yourself at the age of 30, what do you hope to be doing?
I hope that at age 30 I will be a mom but also a nurse helping others.
If you could have dinner with someone famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Malachi Barton from the movie Zombies 4. I would have lunch with him because he is in my favorite movie, he is a good actor and it is a fun movie, and he is really cute.
Abby Nay 8th Grade:
What is your favorite class? Why?
My favorite class is orchestra because I love music and learning new things.
What is your favorite season? Why?
Summer. It's warm and you can do lots of different activities.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Bake or Read.

Doing something in the medical field.
If you could have dinner with someone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Avery Anna. She is an awesome singer and musician.
Avonlea Hoehne 8th Grade:
What is your favorite class? Why?
My favorite class right now is FACS because we get to cook food and make p.j. pants.
What is your favorite season? Why?
My favorite season is summer because of swimming and going to Bear Lake. I love the water and being in the sun.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
I play volleyball and ultimate frisbee, I like reading and just spending time with friends and family.
Picture yourself at the age of 30, what do you hope to be doing?
I hope to have 5 kids with more on the way. We live close to family, my job is in business or education, and we live in a nice house with a van and a truck.
If you could have dinner with someone famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would want it with Rod Sterling, because he was the main writer for “The Twilight Zone” and me and my family like watching them. He was also in WWII war so that would be interesting to hear what that was like.
Harley Wenneberg 8th Grade:
What is your favorite class? Why?
Math because it’s easy. I also like FACS because I like sewing and it’s easy as well.
What is your favorite season? Why?
Summer because you get to go swimming and go on vacations and spend time with family.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Go on my phone.

I have a house and my dream job.
If you could have dinner with someone famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would choose Tate McRae because she sounds so nice and I love her music. She is my favorite.
